About This Episode
Wednesday, March 26, 2008, the MTA selected developer Tishman Speyer to build a multi-billion dollar project at the site of the Hudson Rail Yards. The entire complex, which would include housing, office space, and a new park, would be bigger than Rockefeller Center. Rafael Pi Roman interviews Richard Ravitch, former MTA Chairman and finance expert, about the likelihood that this project will go forward and the outlook for other large development projects in the city.
